The CW is in a position of relative strength going into the 2015-16 season. With the success of “The Flash” and the critical acclaim of “Jane the Virgin,” it has more to build on than in the recent past.

Per usual, the network isn’t picking up a ton of new shows, but it’s hoping to re-create the same sort of success it had in 2014-15.

‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’

The spinoff of “Arrow” and “The Flash” finds heroes and villains joining forces to save the planet and time itself, led by time-traveler Rip Hunter.
