Gal Gadot and Chris Pine give a first look at “Wonder Woman”

If you want the low down on DC’s “Wonder Woman” movie, then you’re in for a treat! The first official look at the fierce female superhero is here, and she is AWESOME.

During Tuesday’s (Jan. 19) presentation of “DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League” on the CW, stars Gal Gadot and Chris Pine take fans behind-the-scenes of the highly anticipated standalone movie.

“What we want to do in the film is tell people who she is, where she comes from, why she does what she does. “She comes from Greek mythology. She was born on this island of Amazons called Themyscira… These Amazons were once created to protect man’s world, but they’ve since abandoned it.”

Amazon fighters, Greek myths, and a warrior princess on horseback? There’s nothing not to like in this amazing first look video.

This film is also gearing up to be an awesome feminist film, if director Patty Jenkins has anything to say about it. “The best thing about Wonder Woman is how good and kind and loving she is, and yet none of that negates her power.”

“Wonder Woman” is set to release everywhere June 23, 2017.
