Comcast recently awarded $77,000 in scholarships to 60 Oregon and SW Washington students as part of their annual Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program. The program funded by the Comcast Foundation is a one-time, $1,000 scholarship awarded to the best and brightest high school seniors for their community service, academic performance and leadership skills.

Comcast and Mike Golub, President of Business for the Portland Timbers, recognized the students at a special event at the Lloyd Center DoubleTree Hotel. Some students received additional scholarships and 20 students received iPad Mini's to help with their studies. Learn more about the Leaders and Achievers Program here.
